In the wake of the Paris attacks, world leaders have banded together and have declared they will do everything in their power to end ISIS. Are ISIS’s days numbered?
China has joined the cause to dismantle ISIS after one of its citizens was killed last week by the organization and said it would work to bring those who carried out the murderous act to justice. However, more must be done than simply pound the group into nonexistence, and finally, that appears to be happening.
The Koreas to meet on Thursday
North and South Korea have agreed to hold talks Thursday, November 26th, as part of efforts to resume high-level dialogue between their two governments. The meeting will take place inside the DMZ at Panmunjom.
United States to conduct more freedom of navigation operations
On Friday, a US Navy official it was likely that the U.S. Navy would carry out another freedom of navigation patrol in the South China Sea before the end of the year, and that that patrol would pass within the 12 nautical mile bubble of China's artificial islands. This announcement is consistent with the US military's plan to carry out at least one patrol per quarter.
