The Division 2. Story / Lore. ANNA & ISAC

ISAC has been the Division’s trusted AI companion from before the moment of their activation.
But over time we have learned that he wasn’t created on his own.
Ortiz Robotics created ISAC alongside a technically superior AI, ANNA.

While they were both developed for the same job, they represent two very different approaches to the SHD’s mission.

ISAC was designed with a focus on collaboration and trust, while ANNA is programmed to learn, prioritise security, and control, and could perhaps push the Division into more authoritarian tactics.

As time passes, and we get more involved working alongside Keener, these two AI’s could potentially come into conflict, and from this, it could lead to another Division, within the Division.
