Battery capacity printed on the label doesn’t necessarily tell you what you’ll get in a real project. Saad Imtiaz demonstrates battery profiling with the Qoitech Otii Ace, using active and sleep loads to see how a cell behaves throughout its discharge cycle.

He also shows the Joulescope for measuring power consumption, and recalls testing supposedly 3,000 mAh lithium-ion cells that turned out to deliver only around 250 mAh.
