Patch 12.0.7 is almost here, and the big question many WoW players are asking is simple: Should you actually play it?
Not just log in for an hour. Not just grab a mount. Is there enough in this patch to make it worth coming back before 12.1?

Perfect for leveling, professions, Mythic+, raids and preparing for WoW Midnight!
In this video we take a look at everything coming in WoW 12.0.7 and, more importantly, whether the patch is actually worth your time. From the new Val and Nagital zones, to the Omnium Folio progression system, the Sporefall raid, Turbulent Timeways, catch-up gear, alt leveling and the continuation of the Midnight story campaign, there's quite a bit packed into this update.
00:00 Intro
01:06 The New Zones
03:53 New Borrowed Power!
05:41 New Raid: Sporefall
06:53 New Loot and Item Level Increase
08:33 Fast Alt Leveling
11:09 New Story
We cover:
โ Should you play 12.0.7?
โ Is WoW 12.0.7 worth it?
โ The new Val and Nagital zones
โ Outdoor difficulty tiers and rewards
โ Omnium Folio progression
โ The Sporefall flex Mythic raid
โ New loot and catch-up gear
โ Turbulent Timeways and Timewalking
โ Alt leveling opportunities
โ Story campaign and Troll lore updates
One of the biggest additions is Sporefall, the new raid that introduces flex Mythic raiding for the first time. Whether you're an existing Mythic raider looking for an easier end-of-season experience or someone who's always wanted to try Mythic difficulty without the traditional barriers, this alone could end up being one of the most important experiments Blizzard has run in years.
At the same time, 12.0.7 introduces new zones with scalable difficulty, powerful rewards, new outdoor challenges, and plenty of reasons to group up with other players. Some of these ideas feel like a step in a very interesting direction for future WoW content.
Not everything lands perfectly though. The Omnium Folio system is Blizzard's latest attempt at player power progression, and while it offers some nice passive bonuses, it may not be the game-changing feature some players are hoping for.
Meanwhile, Turbulent Timeways returns with huge experience bonuses, Timewalking events, alt leveling opportunities and a brand-new mount, making this one of the best times to expand your roster of characters before 12.1 arrives.
๐ฎ Overall, if you already enjoy World of Warcraft Midnight and are looking for more things to do, 12.0.7 offers plenty of reasons to log in. If you're expecting a revolutionary patch that completely changes the game, you may want to temper those expectations.
๐ฌ Are you coming back for 12.0.7?
Or are you waiting for 12.1 before diving back into WoW?
