In this presentation, I look at part of Back to Eden Gardening, or gardening with wood chips, from a soil science perspective. What are the wood chips in the BTE method actually doing to the soil, is it helpful, and could you get the same or better results using another method. BTE is a good method, but it isn't for everyone and every context, and there are better ways to build soil.
