Although this video does not have to do with the Kalam Cosmological Argument per se, critics have pointed out that William Lane Craig (possibly the most well known proponent of the KCA) has said he is not a Christian because of the evidence of Christianity (like the KCA) but because of the inner witness of the Holy Spirit. Guess what? That's true! Craig has always said he is a Christian due to the Holy Spirit not because of arguments and evidence like the KCA. These atheists and critics don't seem to understand that the inner witness of the Holy Spirit is a properly basic belief. That is, it's still rational to hold to a belief apart from arguments and evidence. More sophisticated philosophers know this to be true. So, why would Craig be a hypocrite when he made it plain that it's because of the holy Spirit that he's a Christian NOT because of the Kalam Cosmological Argument?
