EyekooDrawsStuff | Is this Wacom's best tablet...ever? 2021 review of the Intuos 3 @EyekooDrawsStuff | Uploaded September 2021 | Updated October 2024, 4 hours ago.
IMPORTANT - The last driver version that supports the Intuos 3 is 6.3.15-3. Don't download the latest Wacom driver. Type in your tablet model into the search bar on the driver page, select your tablet, and then download the driver that appears.
You can find the driver download page here: wacom.com/en-us/support/product-support/drivers
I got my hands on an old Wacom Intuos 3 Medium and wanted to see if this is a good drawing tablet for someone getting started in digital art today.
This is part of a series of review videos where I'll be testing a couple of different drawing tablets and trying to make my usual style of digital painting with each. My painting video using this tablet is here: youtu.be/8uga6BBvuUU
I was able to find this Wacom tablet, the Intuos 3 Medium, at a really good price on a second-hand marketplace and heard of others having the same experience, so this could be another place for beginners to look if they need a drawing tablet that is affordable, has all the features they need, and is going to be reliable.
If you want a more recent entry-level tablet, check out the Wacom Intuos Small: amzn.to/3EbMXnB

Need free digital art software, then I recommend Krita, which was used in this video, for digital drawing, painting and animation: krita.org/en
