With an average price tag of over $40,000 the high end enclosed side by sides on today's market rival the cost of a brand new truck. And if you're like us, you have probably wondered if you're not just better off building up a Jeep or Tacoma. We were able to answer that question pretty quickly after getting behind the wheel of this Polaris Xpedition.
Polaris sent us this 2026 Xpedition North Star to test on a few of our hunts this fall, and it didn't take long for us to fall in love. There's a lot about the vehicle that make it stand out, but most of all is the ride quality. The suspension on this machine is beyond what you'd ever be able to get from building out a normal vehicle. It's also smoother, and lighter than a comparable Polaris Ranger. If you're looking for a new hunting rig, and you have the budget, the Polaris Xpedition is definitely worth a look.
