We got our hands on the FTN Motion Street Dog XR, the new and upgraded version of the Street Dog 80 electric motorcycle and put it through its paces on the street of Sydney (and a few places it probably shouldn't have gone). This could be the very best commuter motorcycle on the market.
In this review we cover:
The new suspension (massive upgrade nitrogen gas shocks, developed directly with the manufacturer)
Improved switchgear and indicators
New wide handlebars and adjustable mirrors
30L of storage (yes, really)
Keyless fob, TFT display, and that little dog icon
Real-world range testing (~60–80km per charge)
Pricing: $9,990 AUD with an optional second battery for just $1,500 extra
What we'd still like to see improved
Whether you're a daily commuter or just EV-curious, this bike might be the most fun you'll ever have sitting in traffic.
