There has been a rumor that the Victorinox companion is not only real but is the Swiss spirit tool of 2023. I'm suspicious as to whether it is real or not! First of all,. the name "Companion" has been used in the past. It is something that Victorinox has done before, to reuse the name of a tool, but it still seems a little unusual.
With its innovative package opener tool, this would really be a first for Victorinox. But this hasn't been released on any channels that I have found, and it is supposed to be coming to the market on April 11th. Could it be real? The package opener tool would be a game changer for Victorinox. This would open up a better option for a knifeless multi tool by the Swiss army knife company. With everything else on it appearing to be the same as a Climber, except for the replacement of the second blade with a nail file, I think they might really be on to something. But their choice of scales is a little unusual, in my opinion...
