I've been collecting numbers on the first 10,000 miles. Not scientific, it never is, but the pattern is clear. Running OEM 19-inch wheels with Halo disc covers gives me a slight efficiency bump, and honestly it helps my white Model Y stand out from every other one in my area. The real story is the money. I drove this same commute in a V6 Acura TL and a couple of Toyota Priuses, and moving up to the EV cuts my expense in half every single time.

Would I ever go back to gas? For a Porsche GT3 RS, heck yeah. But I'm not daily driving that. For our actual use case, the EV is just the best option, and the data keeps proving it.
