Stop 'n' Swop is arguably the most famous unused game element in video game history, included in Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie to some degree. This begs the question, what about Rareware's other 3D Collectathon Platformer at the time - Donkey Kong 64.

![Hunky Clips, Round? and more! | Donkey Kong 64 Glitch
Here are 17 glitches, but first, lets talk about QPU misalignment.
If youre part of the DK64 discord, you might have seen most of these, but not all of them :^) .
#1 - MOONKICK SOFTLOCK
If you tag with B when youre in a moonkick state and just about to head out of range from a tag barrel, then you’ll be stuck in that moonkick state eternally without any way to escape.
#2 - MOONKICK CLIP OUT OF BLOCK TOWER ROOM
Most likely useless now that we have a way to do R1 Skip on VC with TBS noclip. However, using chained moonkicks to reach the top of block tower, you can do a further moonkick to escape the small glass cage, and end up out of bounds.
#3 - MAGIC SPOT ON K ROOL FLOOR
There are certain spots on the floor of K Rool Arena where you cannot take damage from K Rool’s shockwaves (for some reason). This is one of them.
#4 - ORANGELESS THRONE ROOM ESCAPE
By performing a skid jump double jump, you can grab onto the archway of the hallway leading up to throne room. Upon pulling up, youll be out of bounds, and able to navigate back to W1 Room.
#5 - DETRANS CLIP IN CAVES
By using the detransform and a well-timed long jump, you can clip out of bounds
#6 - ICE SHIELD GB EARLY WITH DETRANS
Detransform extends your hitbox, which means that if you escape the Hunky Chunky room with Hunky Chunky intact (Which is possible with a SJDJ-Aerial), you can grab Ice Shield GB without clipping in.
#7 - ARCADE ROOM ESCAPE
Lanky + A small area with a box = a difficult push that can make you escape Arcade room. Unfortunately this doesnt seem to work with other kongs.
#8 - NINTENDO COIN | WHY IT CANT BE SPAWN SNAGGED.
Since spawn snagging became widely used, a lot of people have asked about whether Nintendo Coin can be snagged. Unfortunately it cannot, since the coin doesnt have any collision.
#9 - DETRANS CLIP PAST THE RAMBI DOOR
Similar to #5, but you do it against the Rambi door
#10 - HUNKY CHUNKY LIGHT CLIP
Similar to the light clip in Aztec, backflipping on the torch with Hunky Chunky or jump aerialling can lead you to clipping out of bounds.
#11 - EASY AZTEC CAGE CLIP
This is gonna be really good for 101% runs. Literally just run against the cage, hold up & do a full jump. You then clip into the cage, no problem.
#12 - EYE CLIP REPLACEMENT
With a ceiling kick, if you hit a certain seam, you can clip inside K Rools head and reach the loading zone. This is a good replacement for eye clip which doesnt rely on lag, but it is a fair bit slower.
#13 - BANANA BLASTOFF 2.0
With the Japes GB Duping trick, and some clever movement with wet/dry storage, you can get a GB onto the BBlast platform in Japes (which can be picked up by DK if its the 25th+). As a result, if you enter the BBlast animation at a certain point relative to picking up the GB, you will be in the dance animation whilst getting the changes in Y from the BBlast animation.
#14 - THE LANKY QUICK-KILL [THEORETICAL]
If you enter the fake intro to Lanky Phase, and then grab something to spawn the pads, upon K Rool heading to the yellow corner (upon you playing your instrument on the blue/yellow pad), the round will immediately fail. Im not sure why.
#15 - LAG CLIP OUT OF DARTBOARD ROOM W/ CHUNK LOADING
Was in the NLE LOTAD, but that one was a little too difficult for RTA. I can imagine the one shown here to be more in-line with RTA. If you get a damage dance skip and land near the left dartboard door, under some instances, holding up-right will let you clip through the door. After doing this, you can get a push out of bounds. This is essentially a lag clip with using the chunk loading spike instead of oranges.
#16 - MUSHROOM BOUNCE
Holding A when bouncing on a mushroom will let you jump really high and extend your bounce distance. Using this, and a pony tail twirl, you can reach the kasplat. This is useful for NLE.
Edit: Apparently this trick is older than the sun.
#17 - ROUND? [THEORETICAL]
You might have seen this on NoContextDK64 a while back.
So, upon starting a round, the announcer will say Round [soundbyte]. Normally this soundbyte is the announcer saying the round number (Since it normally resides between 1 & 12), however forcing it out of this range can lead to some interesting other sound effects. If its set to 0 (AKA Round 0), the announcer will continually say Round over and over again. I assume this is because when he says round, it also calls for the game to say the round number (which coincidentally is round)
