Sharing one big culture shock in Singapore as a Japanese. I have lived in Singapore for 5 years but never really talked about this matter - which is recycling and food package wastage. In Japan, I used to classify all my rubbish and recycle them accordingly. But in Singapore, it seems like all the trash goes to one rubbish chute. I'm having a discussion about this matter with Singaporean online personality, Annette Lee.

This year, the five most innovative and impactful ideas around reimaging and reducing food and packaging waste will receive total funding of up to SGD 100,000 from DBS Foundation. An additional SGD 25,000 will be given to the most promising solutions of the five at the end of their pilot.
