Welcome to Affro's Curiosities Season 8!
For the last few years, most of the popular retro gaming consoles have gotten SD card based cartridges, Optical Disk Drive replacements (ODE) or software emulation! Even FPGA's are coming into popular demand thanks to devices such as the Mister!
While the PS2 does have the HDD mod for FAT PS2's or the USB port & the SD Memory card slot, Slim model PS2's haven't had the same success as other consoles in terms of getting isos to run on the PS2!
Until now! SD2PSX uses the memory card slot on the PS2 & promises to be an easy solution for PS2 or PS1 games!
How well does it work for PS2 games? Well, let's find out by playing around 40 games or so! I used Component cables for the PS2 & connected it to the GBS-C using 960p output!
