When the first few episodes of Peacemaker Season 2 dropped, it felt like a home run. Critics greeted it with near-universal praise, at one point rewarding the show with a spotless 100 % on Rotten Tomatoes. But now that the full season is out and the fan verdicts are in, things have gotten a bit messier. While many viewers remain enthusiastic, the reaction has shifted to a mix of praise and outright frustration, especially with the final episode, which has become one of the most hotly debated of the season. It’s been labelled as being a nothingburger or flat out sequel bait. With it being outright confirmed that we won’t be getting a season three, a lot of people are pretty upset with how this show ended. For me, I was pretty hyped about this show and despite me not liking Guardians Of The Galaxy 3, I’ve been labelled as a James Gunn glazer due to my disdain for the DCEU and my love for the DCU.
