Since 1859, there has only been one true contender to the supremacy of Darwin's mechanism of natural selection. This video reviews the history and concepts of the neutral theory of molecular evolution, which made the radical claim that most evolutionary change at the molecular level was not due to natural selection, but genetic drift.

WARNING: This video is dense, even after I cut-out some of the more in-depth walkthroughs of the math. It watches more like a podcast than a video. So, I apologize for how dense it is, hopefully it's not too boring; I clearly got too excited and tried to cram in way too much in one video.
