Lightwater Valley has had a difficult few years.
The removal of iconic attractions, a shift towards younger families and a shrinking ride line-up left many enthusiasts writing the park off completely. But under new ownership, things may finally be changing.
In this review, I’m going through every ride I experienced at Lightwater Valley, deciding what should stay, what could go, and whether the park is finally heading in the right direction.
From the surprisingly fun Spinning Racer and Dragon Drop to older attractions that may have seen better days, can this former Yorkshire favourite build itself a brighter future?
And perhaps the biggest question of all: is Lightwater Valley still worth saving?
