I only had five hours at Adventure Island… and it wasn’t nearly enough!
As part of my mission to support UK theme parks, I headed to Adventure Island in Southend after spending the morning at Clacton Pier. With just a few hours before the park closed, the challenge was to experience as much as possible.
What I discovered was a park absolutely packed with attractions. From family coasters and classic rides to some surprisingly intense thrill rides, Adventure Island offers far more than I ever expected.
Can I fit everything into one evening, and is Adventure Island worth adding to your UK theme park bucket list?
This is the second stop on my UK road trip, where I’m visiting 12 parks in 10 days to showcase the attractions that deserve your support.
