Oakwood’s story didn’t end with Megaphobia.
In this second part of the Oakwood history series, we pick up in 2008 as the park enters a new era under Aspro Parks ownership. From leadership changes and shifting investment priorities to new attractions, refurbishments and growing guest criticism, this episode follows the park year by year through its final chapter.
Using archive footage, press coverage, adverts and guest reviews, this episode explores how Oakwood changed during the Aspro years and how the warning signs of decline were visible long before the gates finally closed.
