I've seen a lot of articles lately popping up on social media asking the question - should AC/DC retire? are they past it? and is enough enough?
That's what I want to talk about today. AC/DC being one of my favourite bands and Angus Young being a huge influence on me and my guitar playing inspiration - I feel a certain passion towards this topic.
AC/DC have been going a long time, and I personally think it's amazing to see them still going and still doing their best to deliver a show to people that want to see them live. Truthfully, they could have called it a day ages ago - especially after Malcolm Young tragically passed, but instead they kept going and are still touring today.
However we live in the age of mobile phones - almost every concert is now being filmed, streamed and clipped/cropped for social media content, leading to access to these live shows like never before. But it also leads to a lot of comments.. mostly comment from people who never even attended a show - and it's these comments that then spark these kids of articles.
So, let's talk about AC/DC, Angus Young & Brian Johnson.
