FarmCraft101 | Is Concrete Killing Your Batteries?? Here's Scientific Proof To End The Debate. FarmCraft101 Solar @FarmCraft101 | Uploaded January 2018 | Updated October 2024, 1 minute ago.
Many times I have heard that setting lead acid batteries on concrete will drain them. I've always been skeptical, so I decided to test it. I use a set of 6 batteries which are for my golf cart and I set them on concrete, on wood, on a bench, and even outside on the dirt for almost 3 months, checking their voltages periodically throughout. I even load test some of them to ensure that the batteries are still capable of putting out power, not just giving a voltage reading.
The results? Watch the video! ;-)
