Let's begin at the beginning with Abigail Shrier's "Irreversible Damage," from a cognitive psychologist's point of view.


A couple things that didn't make it into this video:
- For the early character/person discussion, one I spaced on was the one character from "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective." You know the one. That the character slipped my mind speaks to how well they belong in that category, probably.
- There is a longitudinal study for how trans (and cis) kids develop, called the TransYouth project, so tracked data over time is on the way.
- I didn't catch the lack of neutral language in the 12th quote, I am sorry.
