Iron Maiden 'The Trooper' style Em 80s heavy metal / rock guitar backing (Jamtrack E minor)
Uptempo and aggressive!!
Scale:
E minor pentatonic for the whole thing
OR
E minor first section
A minor second section
This is an Iron Maiden style backing track, influenced by the solo section in 'The Trooper'. You can use this to work on the actual Iron Maiden Trooper solo, or just to improvise over the aggressive chord rotation! The whole thing is in Em, however, there's a slight key change on the second part of the solo (Murray/Gers solo) where it switches to Am, but really the F power chord on the ascend is the only thing to watch out for, so as long as you're doing Em pentatonic it won't be a problem.
Guitar was a USA Charvel So-Cal through a Marshall JCM 800 Mk2 head, bass a Fender Jazzbass through an Ampeg SVT head.
Party on! :-)
