As an Irish person reacting to American culture, regional accents in the USA are one of the most fascinating things because every state sounds completely different.
In this reaction to Olly Richards’ “13 American Accents Ranked EASIEST to HARDEST to Understand”, I try to figure out which American accents are easiest for foreigners, which US accents are hardest to understand, and why some American dialects sound almost like different countries.
