"Irina Tweedie on Mysticism and the Psychic Presence Within the Heart" is a small portion of a talk she gave in 1985 at the Wrekin Trust Mystics and Scientists Conference in the U.S., with the official title being, "Paradoxes of Mysticism". She says, "There is a mysterious substance in the hearts of man, a mysterious, everlasting substance that is activated by love. The ray of the soul brings this substance with it into the manifestation as a human being and is the traveler within us. Without this spiritual sense within our heart we would not be able to reach our home. It is pride in God that makes the mystic feel emptiness in all other things of this world.
