Many reviewers have glossed over the fact that the iPhone XR doesn’t have 3D Touch like nine of the last ten iPhone models had. There is, of course, a new thing called Haptic Touch, and many people believe it’s the new future for iPhone displays since it’s cheaper to manufacturer over 3D Touch. Personally, I hope they’re wrong.

This is perfect for those icons that arent following Material Design guidelines, which results in some of your home screen icons being larger than others. You can adjust the shape, position, and background fill if youd like, and you can even export your icons to be loaded as a makeshift icon pack, so theres plenty to like here.

In this video, Ill be showing you how a cool new app called Volume Scheduler that manages all of your volume levels to accommodate for your daily schedule.
Once youve set this one up, you can have it lower your ringtone, notification, and media volume automatically when you get to work, then make the volume levels turn back up when youre on your free time. Setup is really simple, too, so its a great alternative to Tasker or other automation apps if you only want this one feature.

In this video, Ill be showing you a simple Xposed module called Google Search Bar Destroyer that does exactly what its name implies and removes the Google Search bar on almost any launcher.
This is mainly intended for folks who use their phones stock home screen app, as these generally dont allow you to change many settings. The module works by blocking a hook that the Google App uses to insert itself into your home screen, so it should work with any launcher that has an embedded search bar.

In this video, Ill be showing you an app called Trackazon that tracks prices and availability of Amazon products automatically.
When youre looking to buy something from Amazon, but the item is out of stock or the price is too high right now, Trackazon is the perfect companion. While browsing for an item on Amazon, simply tap the Share button and choose Trackazon, then select what changes youd like to be notified of.
You can set it to notify you when the product becomes available again, or you can have Trackazon automatically keep an eye out for price changes, so it saves you both time and money.

In this video, Ill be showing you how to use an app called Substratum Theme Engine to completely revamp the look and feel of Stock Android.
Substratum (formerly Layers) activates a hidden theme engine in Android to let you change the look of almost any app or element. Youll need to be rooted to use this app, and youll need to be running Android 6.0 or higher. In addition to that, Substratum will probably not work on manufacturer-skinned versions of Android, so for best results, youll need to be running stock Android or an AOSP-based custom ROM.
