Local Required Monthly Test for the state of Iowa. Initially issued from 1040 WHO-AM at around 2:55 AM CT and picked up by every station in the state, including KSEZ-FM, which my EASyPLUS monitors. This is also one of the last Emergency Alert System captures to be recorded without a TBC (time-base corrector), hence the jitter.
I didn't get a recording earlier in the day, so I decided to reissue the alert about 7 hours after it went over the air. Note that my EASyPLUS is not hooked up to any transmitters and is completely closed-circuit, so only I am able to hear and see the alert being broadcasted, however nobody else is able to receive it or relay.. up until I upload it to YouTube.
Blah blah blah valid tones. They'll activate Emergency Alert System and potential rebroadcast could lead to the FCC going after you. Just have some common sense and don't bother.
