Prime coats and curing materials are key components to maintain the integrity of road pavements. This research project investigated the best conditions and reasons to use primed or cured materials at specific times and areas. With the use of laboratory and testing in field conditions, researchers developed guidelines to help personnel working on roadways to decide what materials should be applied.
