J Warner Wallace claims that he was an atheist who used his cold case detective experience to determine that Jesus was God. This is obviously an absurd story for the simple fact that training in police work doesn't qualify a person to analyze ancient texts. But even if it did, we're faced with a bigger question: Was Wallace even a detective when he converted to Christianity? He says he was - but a look into his history brings up questions about how true this claim is and casts doubt on his entire narrative of investigating his way into Christianity. In this video, I will discuss the overall plausibility of his "I used to be an atheist" back story as well as sharing information I found about his police career and how it lines up with his conversion and apologetics career.
