♫Inuyasha - To Love's End [Piano Cover]♫

I have not watched a single episode of Inuyasha, but I do recall listening to this over and over again when I had to part ways with someone who used to be very close to me. That was about 5 years ago, and back then, I had known this piece as Affections Touching Across Time. It was only when I began work on this arrangement several days ago that I learnt of its alternate title - To Love's End. Damn, that couldn't be more apt.

While searching around YouTube for different covers for inspiration, I also discovered that there were some with Chinese lyrics sung to it. I particularly like this one a lot: youtu.be/UUJIbc94PL4

And I was overjoyed when I came across this amazing Erhu cover: youtu.be/RqS_PxMHqV8
I think it works really well with Erhu.

Anyways. I had thought I was going to do a short and simple arrangement that lasted no longer than 4 mins. Looks like it turned out much longer than expected. But it's alright, I'm pretty satisfied with it. Makes it all the more epic and heartbreaking I think! I've actually been improvising on this theme quite a bit for a long time now, and it's about time I did a cover for it. So here it is. I hope you like it, and I especially hope it brings lots of feels to you. Because that was exactly what I was going for. Feels yeah.
