Isaac Asimov was one of the leading figures during the golden age of science fiction, and established many of the common tropes that we see in the genre today. Coining the term ‘robotics,’ he revolutionized the way people envisioned such mechanical ‘beings’ by implementing scientific and technical truths to his fiction. Asimov would go on to win the Hugo Award for ‘best all-time series’ in 1966 for his “Foundation” novels.
