A distance measuring wheel, also called a surveyor’s wheel, is primarily used for surveying. As you walk, pushing the device adds and pulling it subtracts. The 5505E Electronic Distance Measuring Wheel allows you to measure distances in one shot without needing to take separate measurements. All you need to do is simply change the position of the tool.
In direct sunlight, the 5 digit display is crystal clear and in low light, the backlight can be turned on for better viewing of the numbers. Measuring modes incluse trip and total and also a push-button reset - see 0:30 for a visual.
