The Chair of the Lending Right Committee, Olivia Lanchester, and Australian authors Tristan Bancks, Nova Weetman and Alice Pung introduce the Lending Rights Schemes and how they support those working in the Australian literary sector.

If you’re part of the sector, you could be eligible for an annual payment through the Schemes. The payments compensate authors, illustrators, editors, translators, compilers and publishers for the free public use of books in public and educational libraries, including audiobooks and eBooks. The deadline for submitting new title claims is 31 March every year.
