Looking for a new book tag for content? Check out this Oscars inspired awards format to highlight some of your favorite things in books! I am using this for my best books of 2023, but you could also use it for mid-year or overall favorites.

Here are the categories I am using, but also some alternatives in case you want to switch things out for your own reading preference. In my December 21 full version Page Masters Awards, I am going to list 3 nominees for each category, and the winners!

The 12 categories are:
- Best leading male
- best leading lady
- best supporting character
- worst villain
- best setting
- best romance
- best horror
- best fantasy series
- best nonfiction
- biggest disappointment
- biggest surprise
- FAVORITE READ OF THE YEAR
