In this reading vlog I am checking out The Woman in White by Wilkie Collins, and annotating this gothic classic with you! I feel like annotating while reading really helps me stay engaged in the reading experience, and especially with classics that take place in a very different time and use different language. I am annotating characters, quotes and themes, which I did get from Lit Chart - it really helped structure my expectations of this classic!
This book was categorized as a gothic horror and mystery but I see it more as a domestic thriller. It was very plot driven and I felt like I was annotating every page because the themes were so clear throughout!
