About the speaker
Marco Werr completed his PhD in Chemistry with a background in redox active materials and electrochemistry, and later earned a European MBA from Collège des Ingénieurs. After starting his career as a research scientist at the University of Heidelberg, he transitioned to the industry, joining Infineon Technologies AG as a Senior Specialist in Application Management for Energy Storage Systems (ESS). In this role, Marco leverages his unique blend of technical expertise in chemistry and business acumen to drive the go-to-market (G2M) activities for Infineon's semiconductor solutions in ESS, aiming for bridging the gap between semiconductor products and battery energy storage systems.
