In order to create anything in 3D, you’ll need to learn how to navigate in 3D space. You can do that with the gizmo in the top right of the viewport or you can use hotkeys. The most common hotkeys are:
MMB: Orbit the view
Shift + MMB: Shift the view
Ctrl + MMB: Zoom the view
Numpad 1: Front view
Numpad 3: Side view
Numpad 7: Top view
Numpad 5: Toggle perspective
Numpad 0: Toggle camera view
Numpad /: Toggle local view
Numpad Period: Frame selected
Home: Frame all
Tilde: View pie menu
You can also use the Emulate 3 Button Mouse and Emulate Numpad options in Blender's preferences if you don't have those respective hardware configurations.
