I observed a vehicle with damage consistent with a reported hit and run incident involving an Uber driver. Upon contact, the female driver was immediately uncooperative, exiting the vehicle against orders and refusing to move to a safe location away from the roadway. When she began yelling and challenging me to arrest her, I attempted to take her into custody for obstruction. She physically resisted, went to the ground, and refused to walk. During the struggle to secure her in the patrol vehicle, she kicked me, resulting in a charge of aggravated assault.
