Happy New Year to all of you lovely people!
Summary: One day, Jon meets Ygritte, a servant working at Winterfell. They become friends, but even Ygrittes friendship can not convince Jon of staying at Winterfell. Despite Ygritte trying to change his mind, Jon leaves to join the Nights Watch - not knowing that Ygritte is pregnant with his child. He finds out about it after taking his vows, and fights with himself whether to return to Ygritte and his son, or to stay loyal to his vows. Ultimately, he flees Castle Black.
Meanwhile, Ygritte is being questioned about the identity of her sons father. She, and Jon on his journey, find out that the identity of Jons mother - and father - has finally been revealed as Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen. King Robert is determined to wipe out the last of the Targaryens. After Jons arrival at Winterfell, Ygritte is quickly taken prisoner. Despite Jons efforts, she is executed, and Jon is told that his son was killed, as well.
He is eventually captured and taken back to Castle Black, where he is sentenced to death as a deserter, not knowing that Sam and Maester Aemon have secretly helped him.
Notes: This project was a long time coming. I started it months ago, but wasnt able to finish it until now. It all began when I read this wonderful fic:

Summary: Elrénia joins Thorin Oakenshields quest to reclaim Erebor. Half elf, half human, she has been living in the wilderness most of her life, gifted with the sword, and her beauty out of the world. She first met Thorin years and years ago in a small village, him a blacksmith, her merely passing through.
Over the years, their paths have crossed many times more, and Thorin has come to hate her as much as he loves her, the elf blood pulsing beneath her human skin one more thing he can neither forget nor forgive.
