Tonight, we interview Christina Amos Marek, mom of Joshua Amos, who went missing March 19th, 2023, after being separated from his group of friends during a night out.

On Saturday, March 18th, Josh went out with friends… like he’s done a hundred times before. For whatever reason, left his phone at a friend’s house along the way. In the early morning hours of March 19th, he got separated from his friends and left Scarlett’s Cabaret on foot.
He was seen on camera footage making his way toward JJK bus stop. A sweet bus driver helped him make his way to the Emerson Park station to buy a day pass. She described him as being cold, tired and a bit confused about his location. Once at Emerson, he purchased a day pass for the Metro. Around 6:45am, we see him on camera spending several minutes waiting, but he never gets on a train. He leaves the platform on foot. We are not able to confirm if he ever used that ticket at a later time.
We are able to track his movements on a few different cameras, but the last footage is from Ee-Jay Motor Transports at 7:28am. And then he disappears. We have yet to find any confirmed footage of him since.
The family and law enforcement have conducted foot searches, drone flyovers, and K-9 searches. They have covered the majority of Washington Park and East St. Louis within several blocks of his last known locations. No evidence of his whereabouts has been found in that area. We’ve called and visited all local hospitals and ERs. We’ve canvassed local homeless shelters. We’ve also checked all bank records and there has been no activity since his disappearance. We are unsure if he had any cash on him after leaving the club.
According to a report from a local woman - she heard rumors of a white male being mugged around 5/5:30am. We are unable to confirm if this happened or if it was Josh, but it’s possible he incurred some injuries.
At this time, we are asking a few things from the public: 1) continue to share posts and keep his face prevalent on social media, 2) if you believe you see him - call 911 immediately, then call family, 3) if you live in or near Washington Park, Fairmont City, East St. Louis, Granite City, etc. - please check all abandoned buildings/sheds/homes - he may have been cold and looking for warm shelter, 4) if you have Ring/security cameras in any of the previously mentioned areas - please check your footage for sightings of him.
Since an entire month has passed - he could be outside of the IL/MO state lines. We are asking that no matter where you live - consider sharing our posts and keep an eye out.
Our family and friends are so incredibly appreciative of the kindness and support that has been shared this far. We continue to ask for prayers and help. We will not give up until we find Josh. ❤️
