Jen Geigley is a knitwear designer, author, and creative entrepreneur based in Des Moines, Iowa. She has been publishing modern, wearable knitting patterns since 2010, when her first design, the Gaptastic Cowl, became a widely loved staple among knitters.
Her work has appeared in publications including Vogue Knitting Magazine, Modern Daily Knitting Field Guide, Rowan books and she has collaborated with leading yarn brands such as Madelinetosh, La Bien Aimee, Lion Brand, Blue Sky Fibers, Knit Collage, Harrisville Designs, Purl Soho and more. Through her YouTube channel (Jen Geigley Knits) she shares knitting projects, behind-the-scenes insights and honest conversations about building a creative life.
Jen is especially passionate about helping knitters design thoughtful, hand-knit wardrobes and feel confident in their creative voice. Whether she’s teaching, writing, or chatting with fellow makers, her goal is simple: to inspire people to make something every day.
