Set in different INTERPOL regions, the children illustrate themes that were valid at INTERPOL’s creation, and are still valid today, such as:
- the use of biometrics
- secure information exchange
- our databases
- INTERPOL’s operational added value
- building capacity to fight modern crime threats
Since 1923, the world has changed but the need for such cooperation remains as strong as ever. INTERPOL’s role remains unique as it is the only organization with the mandate and technical infrastructure to share police information globally.
Today, INTERPOL plays a central role in the global security architecture, representing stability, offering neutrality and inspiring trust in a fast-changing world.
We will continue to draw on our century of experience to empower our membership to meet new policing challenges into the next 100 years and beyond.
