Today, we’re celebrating our incredible Animal Care, Health & Welfare (ACHW) team. From Penguin Plunge to Exploration Asia, this talented and dedicated team of professionals shares their skills and hearts to look after over 100 species. Across the zoo and our two offsite conservation centres, the ACHW team designs nutritious diets, crafts creative enrichments, tracks animal health and behaviours, and ensures habitats are clean, safe, and stimulating. No matter the task, their compassion, expertise, and commitment to wildlife and wild places inspires us every day. 💚
