This documentary short chronicles the first 48 hours of selected international students from departing their countries of origin to the initial days after arriving in Toronto. The film is a journey through the surprises, anxiety, joy, sadness, and funny revelations of learners who have left their home to study in Canada at the University of Toronto. Created in partnership between the Centre for International Experience and the Innovation Hub, the documentary is intended to share with the broader community what it means for international students to be new to a university, a culture and a country. With special thanks to Cal Campos, Videographer, Director and Producer, and funded in part by the International Student Experience Fund.
