🌎 This International Manatee Day, we are sharing a message from Belize Program Coordinator Jamal Galves. Jamal is leading coastal conservation efforts with the Clearwater Marine Aquarium Research Institute team in Belize, engaging the local community to help protect the Greater Caribbean manatees, which face threats from boat strikes, pollution, and habitat loss. By protecting areas where manatees live, we are protecting healthy coastal ecosystems and safer waterways for all. ✨
