The celebrate International Dog's Day, we thought we would take a moment to do what we do, looking at lithium-ion battery incidents that have unfortunately involved some unlucky dogs.
Please, we ask you to ensure that if you are lucky enough to have a dog share your house, that you take suitable steps to protect the dog from possibly finding any lithium-ion battery products. These could be anything from a mobile phone, a powerbank, a cordless toothbrush, anything that is powered by a lithium-ion battery. If your dog is to innocently chew on these, these videos show just how easy and just how fast, and just how dangerous the incident can be.
Always store your lithium-ion battery products in a safe and secure location where your dog is not able to access them.
These incidents are accidents, but these accidents are preventable and avoidable.
