This is a video of how I install white oak intermediates on the inboard side of the 1/4" inner ply. This is a 1955 22' Chris Craft Continental. The 5/8" x 1" intermediates are placed between the main and auxilary frames. This is to allow another row of fasteners to help in holding down the new 1/2" mahogany bottom planks. The intermediates were bedded in 3M 5200 and held in place with #8 x 3/4" silicon bronze screws. The intermediates were sealed and painted before installation.
