There are some challenges to work through, like digging the hole, what to do with the soil, what if you run into something buried in the ground, etc. But, it's a doable project with some effort. There are also entire kits out there to bury in the ground.
Kids can have a great time playing on a trampoline. It creates a different experience when the trampoline is aligned at ground level instead of 3 feet in the air.
