First look inspection.
Hook gears. Bobbin case brackets out of alignment and spacing. Horizontal arm shaft lose! Motor belt worn. Handwheel bearings and /or bushing worn? Hook timing off. Reverse lever sticking. Rocket switch dirty or worn. Thread tension unit dirty and stiff. Worm gear dirty and over greased. Needle and presser bars varnished and dirty. Bobbin case replace?
