An inside look at how WorkOS actually builds with AI — not a pitch, a demo night.

We packed a room with engineers, operators, and friends of the company to show the internal tools our Applied AI team has shipped: the CLI that lets anyone at the company deploy to production, a Slack-native code factory built on Claude Remote Routines, an open-source TypeScript state machine that makes agents unable to lie, and a GTM intelligence tool that surfaces sales context without leaving Slack.

What's covered:

• WOW — The internal CLI that scaffolds a production-ready app with AuthKit, Cloudflare Workers, SQLite, Doppler, and CI/CD in a single command. How 39 apps shipped to production in one day at our internal Claude Day hackathon.
• Horizon — Our internal code factory. Claude Remote Routines + Slack + WorkOS Vault. The PR opens as you, not as a bot.
• Case — A TypeScript state machine wrapping six specialized agents. The core insight: the agent doesn't have to be trustworthy. It has to be unable to lie. Open source at github.com/workos/case.
• Wallaby — GTM intelligence built for the sales and marketing org. Structured enrichment, fit scoring, and a Slack-native agent that queries the data warehouse in natural language.
• BlogBot — The system that drafted this blog post during the Q&A. The lesson: shift the interface, not the stack. And wire the whole loop, not just the steps.

The constraint isn't the models. It's our imagination.
